Your account

How do I verify my profile?

Go to Profile, then Verification, and follow the steps to take a selfie. Verified profiles show a green tick.

How do I change my photos or details?

Go to Profile and tap Edit Profile. Tap Preview to see exactly how others see you.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile and choose to delete your account. This removes your profile, photos and messages. If you have Gold, cancel it with Apple first, because deleting your account doesn't stop the subscription.

What do I get with Gold?

Gold includes unlimited likes, daily compliments, seeing who likes you and who answered your question, advanced filters, undoing your last pass, Invisible mode, a daily Profile Boost, extra app icons and a Gold badge on your profile. The full list is on the Gold screen in the app.

How do I cancel Gold?

Open your iPhone's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then NikkahNest, and tap Cancel Subscription. Gold continues until the end of the period you've paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid for Gold but don't have it

Open the Gold screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Gold.

Matching and privacy

What is Invisible mode?

A Gold feature. When it's on, you only appear in Discover to people you've already liked. Turn it on in Profile, then Invisible mode.

How does the compatibility question work?

Choose a question in Discover by tapping the Interest button, then My question. When someone likes you, they may be asked to answer it first, and their answer appears in your Interest inbox.

How do I hide NikkahNest on my Home Screen?

Go to Profile, then Appearance, and choose the Discreet app icon. It's free for everyone.

Wali and chaperone

How do I add my wali or chaperone?

Go to Profile, then Wali / Chaperone, and enter their email. Choose Full access to let them read your marriage conversations, or Verification only to let them see only that your account is verified and active.

How does my wali sign in?

They open NikkahNest, choose the Chaperone Portal, and enter the email you added. They'll receive a secure sign-in link by email.
